I'm an Air Canada air miles junkie. I'll do almost anything to earn aeroplan miles. When Air Canada gave me the option of doing a few online surveys to earn miles, I jumped at the chance. I fly a couple of times a year and every little bit helps. I get an email survey from their marketing firm periodically. The last one I did was ridiculous. It was regarding a department store return policy. I agreed with most of their questions. However, I think there was one that really DID NOT need to be "researched" The question was along the lines of:
"Do you think having a policy of NOT accepting used undergarments for returns/exchanges is acceptable?"
I AGREE!
I AGREE!
I AGREE!
OF COURSE I THINK IT IS AN ACCEPTABLE POLICY!!!
Why the heck would any store accept used undergarments? If I was a store clerk and someone was trying to pass me their skank-o-holic speedo I'd have to be in a full HAZMAT suit before I took it back. Which begs the next question:
What if other surveyors disagree and want to return their tainted panties/boxers/jock straps? If so, would this department store (*cough* rhymes with beers *cough*) re-sell said used panties/speedos?
Today I am afraid of the power of the internet.
too funny...if i got sold what i discover to be used underwear, i'm calling the cops!!
